Job Description
As a Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter at JH Plumbing U-Fix Ltd, you will be responsible for installing and refurbishing high-quality bathrooms and kitchens for both residential and commercial clients across London. You will be involved in all aspects of the fitting process, from design consultation to final installation, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This is a temporary, site-based role with flexible assignments, allowing you to work on a variety of exciting and diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, refurbish, and repair bathrooms and kitchens, including plumbing, tiling, cabinetry, and fixture installations.
- Work with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on designs and layouts.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure a perfect and functional installation.
- Install plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, bathtubs, and toilets, ensuring they are fully operational.
- Lay tiles and complete all finishing work, ensuring a high-quality, polished look.
- Work alongside other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure all installations comply with building codes and regulations, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and providing expert advice during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques for both bathrooms and kitchens, including plumbing and tiling.
- Ability to measure, cut, and install materials to a high standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver a high-quality finish.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when faced with complex installations or repairs.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and other tradespeople.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and design concepts for bathrooms and kitchens.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle various projects at once.
